STAR MAGIC STARS IN MMFF ENTRIES STAR Magic’S Rikka Dylim is proud that a lot of their wards have entries in the Metro filmfest. In “Enteng Kabisote 4,” Kristine Hermosa plays Faye for the 4th time. Also in the cast are Carlos Agassi as a vampire, Gian Sotto as a hitman, and child stars Eliza Pineda and Mikylla Ramirez.In “Shake, Rattle & Roll 9,” Melissa Ricks and Matt Evans are in the “Engkangto” episode; Nash Aguas, John Prats, Sophia Baars, and John Lapus are in the “Christmas Tree” episode; Roxanne Guinoo, Jayson Gainza and Jaymee Joaquin are in the “Bangungot” episode. In “Katas ng Saudi,” Shaina Magdaya and Arron Villaflor play the kids of Jinggoy Estrada while Rayver Cruz is Shaina’s boyfriend. Shaina and Rayver are also in “Bahay Kubo,” along with Angelo Patrimonio, Jiro Manio, AJ Perez, EJ Jallorina, Jane Oineza, Jet Paz, and Mara Schnittka. In “Banal,” Cass Ponti plays the wife of Paolo Contis. In “Desperadas,” Sophia Baars plays Ruffa Gutierrez’ precocious daughter. In “Resiklo,” Empress Schuck plays Gila, a blind girl who can see the future. In “Sakal Sakali Saklolo,” AJ Perez plays Judy Ann Santos’ brother, Dominic Ochoa and Lui Villaruz are Ryan Agoncillo’s close friends, and Ketchup Eusebio is Tuesday Vargas’ husband.Lui is the boyfriend of Angel Aquino and used to be known as Senyorito Lakwatsero in “MUP.” He now plays the chef, Papa Picolino, in “Princess Sarah.” He turned 28 on Dec. 10. Two Star Magic 15 talents also celebrated their birthdays: Tim Espinosa and Puma de Borja. Tim used to dance with the Freemales and starred in the indie film, “Jupit.” He was first runner up in “U Can Dance 2.” He turns 21 on December 20. Puma is taking up Business Ad and Computer Application at St. Benilde. He plays Krista Valle’s suitor in “Abt Ur Luv”. He turned 19 on Dec. 11.

Tim Espinosa dances with STAR MAGIC for PIOLO PASCUAL's Concert November 30th 2007 7:30 at the Araneta Coliseum

After 10 successful years in showbiz, Piolo Pascual once more unleashes ultimate entertainment as he celebrates this historic milestone with a major concert titled Ten: Piolo Pascual!

Together with Star Records and ASAP Live, the matinee idol joins forces with Star Magic to create a night of livewire entertainment and a trip down memory lane on November 30 at the Araneta Coliseum.

"For the second time uuwi ako ulit sa Araneta Coliseum dahil gusto kong ibalik sa mga sumuporta sa akin at sa mga trabaho ko ang sampung taon na dumaan. This promises to be bigger and better than my first concert at the Big Dome. Laki talaga ng pasasalamat ko sa Diyos at sa ABS-CBN dahil sa lahat ng nangyaring ito sa buhay ko," says a thankful Piolo.

The show promises to be a trip down memory lane as Piolo presents his journey to where he is now—one of the best actors of his generation, one of the country's top endorsers, an icon to the youth and one of the most sought-after Filipino concert artists.
That's why Ten: Piolo Pascual! will showcase non-stop energy, mixed with the right melancholy, a pure entertainment experience that will be long remembered.

"Definitely, naghahanda kami ng maigi, bago pa man ako umalis for Canada for my concert, nag-start na ang preparations. Kaya ngayon that I'm back, full blast ulit ang preparations, matutuwa po kayo lahat," promises Piolo.

Award-winning composer Louie Ocampo comes in as musical director while Star Magic head Johnny Manahan is the over-all director. Georcel Dapat serves as stage director.

"Sobrang natutuwa ako dahil lahat ng the best sa industriya, magsasama- sama para mai-mount ang concert na ito. This is a very special project for me, malapit talaga sa puso ko. Kaya naman I'm giving my all dahil alam kong hindi nag-hold back ang ABS sa suporta, and for this I'm grateful and working hard," gushes the matinee idol.

Some of the country's biggest live-act performers will be present to support the heartthrob who is celebrating his first decade in the showbiz industry. Sam Milby, Star Magic Teens (Tim Espinosa), Ogie Alcasid, and surprise guests will be present on Piolo's special night, November 30.
